Delhi Wood 2011

2nd Edition of DELHIWOOD 2011 is now being organised from the 17-20 February 2011 in Halls 14 & 18 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.  The organizers of INDIAWOOD, EUMABOIS (The EUROPEAN Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufactures Associations) & PDA Trade Fairs, due to demand from the Industry, organised the first ever DELHIWOOD in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from the 14-17th February 2009. The event drew tremendous response with over 300 exhibitors confirming participation from 29 countries. Delhiwood 2009 attracted over 13,500 visitors during the four days of the event. 

Given the GEOGRAPHICAL size of INDIA & the unprecedented growth in the country, there was a latent need for a comprehensive exhibition to address the needs of the NORTH INDIAN, NORTH EASTERN INDIAN & CENTRAL INDIAN markets. DELHI, the capital city of the country provided the ideal location to host a show that could attract audience from these regions. Leveraging INDIAWOOD’s experience, DELHIWOOD 2009 showcased the latest in wood processing technologies like sophisticated CNC machines, accessories and tools from all over the world. It also brought together a comprehensive range of materials and fittings to help give an impetus to the growth of industry in this region. The success of the first edition of DELHIWOOD & the unanimous acceptance from the industry as the most definitive woodworking show for NORTHERN INDIA, has encouraged the announcement of the second edition of DELHIWOOD.
