Auto Chongqing 2009 is the only automobile show sponsored by China Association of Automobile Manufacturers in the west of China. China Association of Automobile Manufacturers is also the Sponsor of Auto Shanghai, which was held in Shanghai, China in April 2009.
With 30 million people, Chongqing is the largest, important industrial and commercial city and the only municipality directly under the central government in West China. It is a famous auto city, and its production capacity of automobiles ranks the third place in China.
