For the first time, this congress will be held jointly with the APAPARI Congress. We welcome all allergists, chest physicians, otorhinolaryngologists, dermatologists, ophthalmologists, paediatricians, internists and allied health professionals with an interest in allergic and immune-based disorders, as well as representatives from the pharmaceutical and medical devices companies, to participate in this joint APCAACI-APAPARI 2010 in Singapore from 6-9 November.
The theme of the congress is 'From Bench to Bedside: Evidence-based Practice'. There will be scientific presentations and discussions on basic, clinical and translational research. We hope that this Congress will achieve its aim of translating and transmitting new knowledge and information to doctors and allied health professionals so that the best and most appropriate care leads to improved quality of life for our patients. Sessions that will foster interactions between different organ-based disciplines are planned. The Congress is traditionally also a meeting place for colleagues and friends to exchange ideas and develop plans for future collaborative clinical and research networks committed to Allergy and Immunology in the Asia Pacific region.
