Handicraft companies, primarily from central Germany, present their products and services. Visitors can obtain extensive information and advice.

Visitors are attracted by shows-within-a-show of high quality work, such as the glass-fronted butcher’s shop, the glass-fronted bakery with its own ice cream parlour, masterpieces from the butchery trade in Saxony and the living workshops and energy and environment stand.

Within the Central German Handicrafts Fair there is an emphasis upon the themes of energy and the environment, together with age-appropriate modernisation with advice and demonstrations.
