The two and a half-day Conference will focus on event sponsorship trends, events technology, travel behaviour and trends of golf tourism, business & tourism opportunities associated with the events, which are among the key issues to be debated at this year’s conference. “Sports & events tourism is a growing global industry with significant economic implications for both the event and the impact of travel and tourism related benefits on host destinations.” SETE will again be hosting an International Hosted Buyer Programme to welcome pre-selected high caliber buyers to visit South Africa and interact with South African products and stakeholders in the sports and events tourism industries at SETE with the aim of securing more events business for South Africa.
