Optimising EOR Excellence 2014

This overview course aims to provide such an understanding with a clear focus on developing and producing these marginal reservoirs efficiently within its complexity constraints, realizing technical benefits and application limitations of the various EOR methods. This course covers the recovery improvement possibilities that present themselves at all stages in the reservoir life cycle. It thereby enables one to timely select the most beneficial EOR method and set realistic expectations on production behaviour changes and recovery improvement.

In order to reduce these uncertainties, extensive laboratory evaluations and field pilot tests are conducted to support the implementation of EOR techniques. This training is designed to discuss the latest industry best practices and advancement in EOR and Marginal Field Development. There will be a lot of interactive, case studies that will be presented and simulation results shared for discussion. Many illustrative problems, worked in the class with the course instructor, are helpful in gaining a better grasp of the subject matter.
