The proliferation of wireless and mobile networks has added convenience and flexibility for many business entities, but these same technologies also expose classified information to new security risks. Companies must remain vigilant and stay informed of new attacks and defenses. As with all security, user education and awareness will also continue to be crucial, effective tools for protecting systems, networks and information.

This workshop session will provide delegates with an in-depth understanding of mobile hacking techniques and security by covering 3 essential sections: Communications Layer (Day 1), Devices (Day 2), & Applications (Day 3). These 3 sections are crucial for the understanding of development of safe mobile applications. The workshop is structured so that participants will not only gain knowledge through theoretical sessions in the mornings, but will also gain hands on experience through the afternoon sessions in which practical demonstrations and activities will be provided.
