IEEE Smart Grid World Forum (SMART GRID) 2012

Welcome to the 3rd IEEE Smart Grid World Forum, this unique series of events that form a global platform for collaboration of stakeholders worldwide to support and promote the evolution of Smart Grid. IEEE Smart Grid World Forum provides the framework for the exchange of ideas and sharing best practices in different existing views and multiple approaches to Smart Grid.

The IEEE Smart Grid World Forum is a premier event in the world of Smart Grids that gathers the important players in the field, from policy and industry decision makers to senior engineers. The theme of the 2012 SGWF is Smart Grids as Enablers for Smart Cities and Other Smart Community Solutions. Like its predecessors in 2010 (Brussels) and 2011 (Beijing), it will foster wide-ranging international perspectives on technology, applications, standards and policy.

This two-day event will feature over 40 invited speakers, each providing a unique view on the different topics at hand. Each topic will be covered by 3-5 presenters, with input from different stakeholders and ample discussion and debate.
