WORKSHOP OVERVIEW
As an exploration and/or mining company, the company faces environmental, operations, financial, and political risk inherent to the nature of its activities as well as other risks, such as fluctuations in commodity prices, exchange rate, and financial market conditions in general. The exploration and development or mineral deposits involves a significant risk which even a combination of careful evaluation, experience and knowledge may not eliminate.

As such, this 2-day specially tailored interactive workshop will follow how knowledgeable staff, appropriate planning and using a multi-disciplinary approach leads from early exploration using; historical data, remote sensing, geochemical sampling geological and geophysical surveying, deposit modelling and required CSR, through the drilling and resource definition and finally to successful project development. Applicable case studies are referenced throughout the process to highlight potential risks and suggested remedial actions.

The workshop will describe in detail the tools available to exploration planners and investors alike, including:
- Assessing risks at all stages of the project;
- Using all available data, including that assembled from previously explorers in the target area;
- Working with and learning from the local government and geological survey; and
- The importance of knowledgeable qualified persons experienced in the region;
- Planning for and management of the Non Technical factors
