Shanghai Metallurgy Expo was established in 1986, and had successfully held 14 times. As one of the most famous metallurgy expo all over the world, Shanghai Metallurgy Expo had welcomed 4371 exhibitors from 57 countries and hundred thousand of professional visitors by this time. Tian Jiyun - the vice prime minister of the People's Republic of China emceed the opening ceremony in 1992.
